NV: Evening in Celebration of the Mountain Lion

On Friday evening, MLF cosponsored an event with the Nevada Wildlife Alliance to celebrate Will Stolzenburg's new book, Heart of a Lion.

NV: Commission Meeting

Nevada's Predator Management Program is a state effort designed to kill bobcats, coyotes, foxes, bears and mountain lions. The program is funded by a $3 fee that hunters pay when they buy a tag. The more hunters there are, the more money is raised to kill wildlife in addition to those animals killed by hunters. And a new law requires that 80% of the money be used directly to kill wildlife. . . .
