The Mountain Lion Foundation will be showcasing a protective livestock pen with the 4-H Club at the Julian 4th of July parade!
WHAT:Julian 4th of July parade
WHEN:July 4th 2016, 12pm-1pm. There are pre-parade events which start at 10am.
WHERE:Julian CA Main Street, from Julian High School to Frank Lane Park.
WHY:We are showcasing a display of our livestock protection pen to the city of Julian. This is part of our long term plan for engaging the community.
We use these pen builds to teach livestock safety in areas with predators so there are fewer instances of depredation. For more information, check out MLF and 4-H Team Up to Protect Livestock and Lions
Things you should know:
Parade staging area at Julian High School, participants only please. Parade will end at Frank Lane Park.
Main Street closes to traffic at 9 a.m.; follow directions to the nearest parking lot
Public toilets are available next to the brick building and behind Town Hall.
Pre-parade: 10 a.m. to 12 noon
