Cats of the Andes: Andean Mountain Cat Conservation

The Mountain Lion Foundation presents a talk by Rocio Palacios and Rodrigo Villalobos of Alianza Gato Andino about Andean Mountain cats on Tuesday, April 6 in Julian, CA.

Only 2,500 Andean mountain cats are believed to survive in the wild. Many are wrongly killed as retaliation for mountain lion conflicts with livestock. Learn how Alianza Gato Andino is working with native people and their livestock to save these small cats.
