Utah Wildlife Board Meeting

The Utah Wildlife Board will meet on Thursday, August 30 to vote on the 2018-2019 cougar hunting plan. If you live near Salt Lake City, please attend to speak for our lions!

WHAT: Utah Wildlife Board Meeting
WHEN: Thursday, August 30 at 9:00 AM
WHERE: DNR Auditorium, 1594 West North Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah
WHY: The UDWR's biologists have recommended increasing the number of mountain lions that can be killed by hunters from 581 to 653. According to the best available science, this increase is unsustainable and will only increase conflicts with people, pets, and livestock.

For more information on what to say, read MLF's comment letter to the Utah Wildlife Board and Regional Advisory Council members. To review meeting agendas, packets, and contact information for board members, visit the Utah Wildlife Board & Regional Advisory Councils' website.
