Mountain Lions 101 - Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation

You're invited to join us for Mountain Lions 101!

Saturday, December 14, 2019
10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation
7380 Gabbiano Ln, Carlsbad, CA 92011

The Mountain Lion Foundation's very own Robin Parks talks about basic mountain lion biology, general safety tips, aggressive vs. non-aggressive behavior, and "myths & misinformation" that surround these animals.

After the presentation, there will be a nature walk through some areas of the lagoon.

About Robin Parks:

Mr. Robin Parks is a life-long admirer of the great cats and began volunteer work at animal sanctuaries in California and elsewhere in 1999 where he first encountered captive mountain lions. This led Parks to the Mountain Lion Foundation where he has been a field volunteer on many Mountain Lion Foundation projects.

As a former 25 year career investigator for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service; retiring in 2004, he is very much involved in reaching out to law enforcement agencies who are so often the first responders to mountain lion incidents.

We look forward to seeing you there!
