COVID-19 Notice

Dear Friends of America's Lion,

The Mountain Lion Foundation cares about our staff and our communities and we understand the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has on us all. We are taking the necessary precautions to ensure the collective safety of our staff and our local citizens by closing our office in Sacramento, CA and allowing our staff to work from home with flexible schedules.

Our staff and Board are examining our campaigns and programs and the rest of the work we do to protect America's lion. During this time, we can all support each other and our loved ones by following the recommended health protocols, that is why we have cancelled our public presentations and workshops and will be moving them to virtual platforms.

We have not stopped our work and will continue to communicate with you, our family of lion protectors, but we will not be asking you to take any in-person public action, instead we will be asking you to take more actions remotely. Please continue to follow us on social media and via email for continued coverage.

We all do this work of protecting our lions because we have a great love and respect for them and the places where they live. Even in the midst of our human world shifting, they still need us, and we need each other in order to protect them and ourselves.

Thank you for helping us and for standing by us.

For the Lions!
